Travel Guide: Biarritz

Two weeks ago I went to the most beautiful, magic and unique place ever: Biarritz.
How to describe a place that captures the essence of the past, of the french "je ne sais quoi"?

My stay was short, about three days long, but it was enough to realise that I have to live there someday, somehow. One month, three, a year, or the rest of my life once I retire. Now I understand why everybody said wonderful things about this place. It's a fact that once you get to see the "charme" of Biarritz, you fall in love forever.
I stayed at the Miramar hotel, worldwide know for it's fabulous thalassa. It is old, and not exactly beautiful, but if you want a good spa it's your place. It has two pools, inside and outside, both with sea water. There is nothing like a warm bath in the outside "piscine" while it's raining. The hammam's decoration is arabic inspired, with moisac walls and collumns. And the hotel's restaurant... Simply delicious. It has a light menu and another not so light, but both are delicious.

Le Palais is a wonderful hotel placed in an old french palace. You can't visit Biarritz and not have a cup of tea at one of it's marvelous salons.
Le Miramont Patiserie is also a must-visit. The perfect place for a classy break. From macarons to cakes, it's baked variety yells "Eat me!".
If you are a fashionista Natacha is your place. It has the best selection of luxury brands (I fell in love with Marc Jacob's vintage inspired dresses), and the staff is truly kind and helpful.

In conclusion, I wouldn't like to die without having visited Biarritz, without having a walk by the beach, watching stylish French women dressed with the iconic navy blue long-sleeved stripped t-shirt Coco Chanel made famous.

My very first advice couldn't be more simple: visit Biarritz, give relax a chance.
